Soul’s prayer

At a cross road once more,

Fearing for soul, I’m sure You know.

This time it’s bigger than me again and to be honest, I don’t know if I be able to or can.

You brought me for some odd reason,

Knowing the struggles that would come my way and its seasons.

I don’t know how to keep on fighting,

Building up strength, facing fears, taking a leap instead of hoping.

I am not wired like other You know,

My mind gets the best of moments of conflict, it shows.

I guess all I am asking for is strength,

Strength to keep on going when all faith is gone

Strength to keep on acting until the light goes off

Strength to smile, strength to laugh, strength to trust and act like nothing is wrong,

While I wait on You, surely it won’t be long…
